Atomium Radio is an ephemeral radio station celebrating international, local and independent sound creation. After an open call, we received poetry and theater, field recording, music, documentaries and various experiments, which we broadcast during an 8-hour live show on the evening and night of July 6-7, 2025. To listen to on your long journeys in a cargo ship or a flixbus, during a long walk, tidying up and sporting activities, unexpected expectations, constrained patience or in search of aural adventures, everywhere, for a long time. From the Heysel plateau in Brussels, a stone's throw from the mysterious Atomium, a lively studio of improvisations and broadcasts unfolds. We talk about noise and silence, inter-species relations, love and resistance, ultra-local cooking recipes, witches from le Brabant Wallon, between reality and fiction.
